Resolve account lockouts, forgotten passwords, and 2FA issues.

Forgot Your Password

  1. On the login page, click Forgot Password.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for a password reset link. The link expires after 1 hour.
  4. Click the link and set a new password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters with a mix of letters and numbers.

Account Locked

After 5 consecutive failed login attempts, your account is temporarily locked for 15 minutes. This protects against brute-force attacks.

  • Wait 15 minutes and try again with the correct credentials.
  • If you cannot remember your password, use the Forgot Password flow instead.

2FA Code Not Working

  • Ensure the time on your phone is set to automatic. Authenticator apps rely on accurate system time, and even a 30-second drift can cause codes to fail.
  • If your authenticator app was on a lost or wiped device, use one of your backup codes to log in, then reset 2FA from your profile.

Not Receiving the Reset Email

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Verify you are entering the exact email address on file (check for typos).
  • If your church uses a custom SMTP provider, ask your admin to verify the email service is active and not rate-limited.
  • Reset emails are sent immediately but may take up to 5 minutes to arrive depending on your email provider.
